At ArmandoAid we are always on the lookout for experienced volunteers. The minimum commitment to volunteer is 2 full weeks at the school for teaching assistants and 1 month for a teacher. 

 

Points to note:

 

• Accommodation : Volunteers are responsible for their own travel and living expenses. Limited spaces are available on a first come basis in the ArmandoAid communal house. The price is €100 per week plus a share of transport and household expenses. 

• Travel to the school : The school is located a 1 hour drive from Athens airport or a 1.45 train journey. Detailed directions, map and travel schedules will be provided to successful applicants.

• Dress code: No shorts above mid leg and volunteers are required to wear an ArmandoAid t-shirt at all times.

• Insurance: Travel insurance is compulsory. Cost must be met by the volunteer (we can provide recommendations).

• Long Term Placements: Fully qualified and experienced teachers can apply for a long-term sponsorship after a self-funding month. They will get free accommodation, transport from the house to the camp and a weekly food allowance.
